Inmediate Loading of Implant
A 24-year-old patient presenting
a traumatic fracture of tooth #13 when 18 years old. Root canal
treatment was performed, and a root lysis slowly began. Reason
for consultation: marked tooth mobility. The decision is to
remove the tooth and place the implant immediately.
OsseoMate Implant placement.
We use the one-stage surgical procedure. Here
we can see the healing cylinder placed.
After bone-tissue healing time, which is of
only three months thanks to the surface treatment OsseoMate
implants have (Double Acid Etching), transfer impression of
the implant and creation of the working model with gingival
mask are performed.
Once the laboratory has made the custom castable
abutment based on the castable UCLA abutment, we check its adaptation
in the mouth.
We tighten the abutment with a fastening screw.
With a torque wrench we tighten the fastening screw to 30 Ncm.
